An Onchan man’s admitted his part in a drunken fight inside a shop.
Ryan John Seed of Barrule Drive appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 39 year old pleaded guilty to a single charge of disorderly behaviour on licensed premises in the Co-op on Main Road in Onchan on 1 February.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing Seed had been involved in a fight at around 8.30pm, punching and pushing his victim before fleeing.
He turned himself in to officers later that evening, saying “It was me who did the fisticuffs”, but answered “no comment” to all questions put to him in interview.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 and he’ll appear in court again for sentencing on September 9.
