The Civil Aviation Authority says drones will be banned from the Mountain Road this weekend.
The World Downhill Skateboarding Championship is taking place at the northernmost end of the route.
As a result, drones are banned from flying lower than 100 metres within 10 metres of the Mountain Road between Lheaney Road in Ramsey and the Tholt Y Will Road.
The ban is in place from 6.30pm to 11pm on Friday, July 3, 9am until 11pm on Saturday, July 4 and 9am to 11.30pm on Sunday, July 5.
