Ramsey lifeboat was called out to help a yacht off the Scottish coast last night.
Shortly after midnight the Ann and James Ritchie was asked help the vessel, which was in difficulties west of Burrow Head in Scotland.
Sea conditions meant a crew transfer had to be abandoned and the yacht was towed to Ramsey.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
