A Douglas man’s appeared in court charged with making nuisance telephone calls, wasting police time and trying to breach an alcohol ban six times.
Jonathan Richard Fletcher of Mona Street appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He hasn’t yet entered pleas to five counts of making annoying calls between September and November, two of wasting police time on November 25 and 28 and six counts of breaching or trying to breach a licensing order banning him from buying alcohol.
The court heard the 51 year old tried to buy alcohol at various locations in Douglas on September 19 and October 3, 10, twice on the 14 and once on October 15.
Mr Fletcher was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn’t enter licensed premises, buy alcohol or consume it in public and he’ll appear in court again on December 19.
