The government hasn't had any talks with the UK about creating a separate settlement pathway for migrants on the Island.
That's according to Treasury Minister Chris Thomas, who was asked about it in the House of Keys this week by Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher.
She wanted to know if the Island would take a different approach to the UK's planned changes to indefinite leave to remain rules.
Mr Thomas replied the Manx government was waiting on the UK:
