Ramsey RNLI says it was called out to rescue a yacht off the coast of Douglas earlier this week.
The 33 foot boat was having mechanical problems and couldn't move.
Because it was close to shipping lanes, the lifeboat decided to tow it back to Douglas.
The incident happened on Wednesday, May 27.
