A Scottish project has been given an £84,000 grant to rebuild a fishing vessel originally built for the Manx government almost 80 years ago.
Cellardyke Trust won the grant from the National Lottery's Heritage Fund as it aims to refurbish a 1937 herring fishing boat.
The Manx Beauty was built in Cellardyke for the Isle of Man government and had a sister vessel called the Manx Fairy.
The Trust has already raised £12,000 through fundraising but estimates the total cost of restoring the boat at £250,000.
