The Island's Information Commissioner's Office has criticised the Department of Infrastructure over its response to a Freedom of Information request.
An FOI had asked for details about a rescue boat at Ronaldsway Airport, and the department released answers to all but two of the 14 questions in the request.
Nine months later, it provided the missing items - the ICO says the initial answer breached FOI law because of inadequate searches and failing to provide advice and assistance.
The commissioner says although no further action is necessary, the DOI's been formally advised to ensure it complies with requirements in future.
