Yesterday saw large queues of traffic lining Peel Road as the drive-thru service at McDonalds reopened yesterday.
After closing on March 23, the drive-thru system welcomed customers back on Wednesday with traffic management systems put in place and signs up asking motorists to be responsible when waiting.
Police also took to social media yesterday to say the drive-thru can only be entered from the direction of Douglas, to take care in the area and not attempt to turn your vehicle in unsafe or unsuitable places.
The indoor seating at the restaurant remains closed at this time.
