Local mother's Christmas tree picture goes viral

A local mother has found herself embroiled in a social media storm after posting a picture of her Christmas tree online.

37-year-old Emma Tapping took to Instagram to show her followers the hundreds of neatly wrapped presents, valued at around £1500, for her three children.

However the image was reposted by a critical follower and has now gone viral with the story making headlines around the world - she even featured on Wednesday's episode of ITV's This Morning:

It's a topic that's sparked thousands of comments with some people accusing her of spoiling her children - something she strongly disputed to hosts Holly Willoughby and Ben Sheppard:
