Elderly people across the north of the UK are set to benefit from a local woman's expertise.
Jo Dixon is the manager for the Island's branch of 'Live at Home' - she's been promoted to area manager and will now look after the Isle of Man, Scotland and North West England:
Live at Home provides support for older people who still wish to, and are able to, stay in their own homes.
The charity is working hard as more communities are facing an aging population and a lack of appropriate care facilities causing problems with so called 'bed blockers':
