Braddan commissioners say they're swapping fortnightly meetings for monthly ones.
At the local authority's meeting last week, members voted to change the frequency of board meetings.
They say the change will mean they can get more information about issues discussed and use administrative time better.
The next meeting is due to be held on Thursday, October 23 from 2pm.
