The Treasury Minister has confirmed that little progress has been made over the past year on reforms to the Island's benefits system.
Speaking in the House of Keys this week, Treasury Minister Chris Thomas said that, due to competing pressures on resources, little work had taken place in 2025.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper questioned whether the government had just been sitting on its hands for the last 12 months.
The minister said those pressures did not excuse the missed deadline and insisted work is now underway.
