Residents still have the opportunity to give feedback on new fire regulations.
The Department of Home Affairs is asking the public for feedback about the 'Fire Precautions Regulations 2016' Bill.
The legislation will focus on houses of multiple occupation and flats - the existing regulation has been in place since 1996.
Around 40 landlords, estate agents and surveyors have already shared their thoughts - people have until June 6th to have their say.
