A second UK police force has launched a special TT operation to protect bikers travelling to the Island.
Lancashire officers have launched Operation Screecher, which sees high-visibility patrols around Heysham to prevent motorbikes being stolen or damaged.
Merseyside police have launched a similar initiative, Operation Needle, for this year's TT festival.
Lancashire's Roads Policing Unit says the aim is to make sure bikers arrive safely on the Island after passing through the area.
