Security fencing around the Astro pitch at King William's College has been upgraded thanks to a grant of over £30,000.
A spokesperson says the fence was more than 20-years-old and had corroded due to exposure to the coastal environment, which created a safeguarding issue for pupils.
They added that the new fencing will continue providing opportunities for sports and recreation, making an important contribution to health and wellbeing.
The funding was part of the Manx Lottery Trust's community grant.
