The Island’s election system is currently the topic of study for a delegation from Jersey’s government.
The government members are on the Island as part of a series of visits by the Electoral Commission as they currently investigate reform of the States of Jersey.
The Isle of Man was selected given its similarities to Jersey, both being crown dependencies with independent administrations.
The findings of the Electoral Commission will go toward shaping the future of Jersey’s State Assembly.
