An event to prepare people for emergencies will take place in the north next month.
The Department of Home Affairs is holding an 'Isle be Ready' event, which shows people how to cope with severe weather, power outages and travel delays.
Frontline emergency services staff will be on hand to give practical advice.
It'll take place at Ramsey Town Hall from 11am on Thursday, October 22.
