Organisers of a Pride event in Onchan say they were forced to cancel this year's event because of a late change of heart by commissioners over dates.
The event, which was due to be held in August, was expected to attract around 1,500 people.
However, organisers say they were forced to scrap the celebration after Onchan's local authority asked them to consider an alternative date.
Isle of Pride says with less than three months to go, it wasn't possible to rearrange supplier and volunteer availability.
