Island's GPs discuss utilising technology to save time

Utilising technology within the medical world more effectively will save time for both doctors and patients:

That's Doctor Alex Allinson - today GPs on the Island are meeting to discuss how to improve access to things like medical records, booking appointments online and requesting repeat prescriptions.

Whilst they do so, routine appointments will be unavailable - with locum staff covering urgent requests for assistance.

Dr Allinson says whilst technology isn't suitable for everyone, it's already proving effective:
