A man from the Isle of Man has died whilst on holiday in Thailand.
38-year-old Scott Robert Townsend is believed to have drowned in the sea at Patong Beach in Phuket.
According to reports by The Bangkok Post he was seen entering the water on Friday morning – rescuers found his body shortly after 10am.
It’s believed the Manxman was on holiday and due to return on Saturday.
