Island needs to appreciate our challenges, says Chief Minister

The Chief Minister has said that he hopes people now truly understand the severity of Government’s current financial situation.

We asked him if he suspected the public thought Government was exaggerating it’s position.

Speaking to 3FM, Allan Bell said the reality of Tynwald’s rebalancing plan was evident in this week’s Budget announcement.

However, he was eager to stress the positives the business community and wider public must look to.
