The Steam Packet Company says building work on the island's new ferry is going well.
In an update posted to its website and social media, the company says 80% of the steel needed for the vessel has now been cut.
In addition, a number of parts have already been completed after work started on the ferry at the Hyundai Mipo dockyard in South Korea in August.
The Manxman is due to enter service in 2023.
