The Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association has appointed an official team attaché for Glasgow 2014.
Alex Holt lives in the host city and is studying for the final year of her degree at its university - which is ideally placed to carry out any official tasks.
Over the next few months she’ll be visiting venues to familiarise herself with locations for sports where the Island is likely to have competitors.
The Isle of Man will be one of 71 nations competing there next July.
