Insurance premiums set to rocket for women on Island

Historically, women have always been deemed less risky than men, with this reflected in life insurance policies, however this is all set to change.

A European court has decreed that insurance premiums can no longer be based solely on gender, meaning monthly premiums will go up from December 21st.

As it stands if you take out a premium before this date then you won't experience any changes throughout next year.
