Women on the Isle of Man are being warned that their insurance premiums are set to rocket towards the end of this year.
Historically, women have always been deemed less risky than men, with this reflected in life insurance policies, however this is all set to change.
A European court has decreed that insurance premiums can no longer be based solely on gender, meaning monthly premiums will go up from December 21st.
As it stands if you take out a premium before this date then you won't experience any changes throughout next year.
