Importance of £50m fund cannot be understated, says Chief Minister

The Chief Minister says public negativity cannot derail plans to grow the economy.

Allan Bell announced proposals for a £50 million Enterprise Development Fund in Tynwald this week.
 
The money will be taken from government's £1.4 billion reserve pot and be used to support the growth of new business and creation of jobs for the Island.
 
He says he anticipates there will be a mixed reaction to the amount needed for the scheme, but urges the public to appreciate the importance of what they're doing:
