Prosecutors say they can't tell how many trials have been derailed because of delays getting medical records.
A Freedom of Information request to the Attorney General's chambers asked how many trials had been vacated because of problems getting the records from Manx Care.
The question asked for figures from the last three years.
However, in its response the organisation says it doesn't hold the information.
