Police are reminding people that Nobles Hospital could see longer waiting times during the TT fortnight.
They say the emergency department experiences busy times for the two weeks of the event.
The force has said minor injuries can be seen more swiftly at the Minor Injuries Unit at Ramsey & District Cottage Hospital.
The unit is open 12 hours a day from 8am until 8pm.
