The Island's health minister says hiring two external consultants will help Manx Care meet its budgets in future.
Claire Christian faced a question for written reply from Onchan MHK Julie Edge about two independent experts hired as advisors for Manx Care.
She revealed one is a nurse who will help improve services, while the other is a finance specialist who'll help control spending.
Both are on six-month contracts and are being paid by the Department of Health and Social Care.
