High school pays tribute following loss of 'hardworking' PE teacher

Rob Campbell

Staff and students of St Ninian's High School are paying tribute after the loss of a teacher in a road incident on the weekend.

Rob Campbell was killed when he collided with a coach on Richmond Hill in the early hours of Saturday morning.

31-year old Rob began working at the school nine years ago as a PE teacher - and was known to students across all age groups.

He has been described by head teacher Andy Fox as a 'very hardworking and conscientious colleague'.

The Department of Education and Children says it shares the school's sorrow over Mr Campbell's death - and has relayed its sympathy to Rob's partner and his family.

Police tell us the investigation is ongoing, and urges anyone who saw someone walking around that time to come forward.
