The Island's Lieutenant Governor has thanked well-wishers after being the first person in the post to complete the Parish Walk.
Sir John Lorimer tackled the epic 85-mile trek around the Island's parishes at the weekend.
He managed to finish in 63rd place after 21 hours and 54 minutes.
After he crossed the finish line on Douglas Promenade, he took to Twitter to thank those who helped him take on the walk.
Thanks to everyone supporting and encouraging me during the 2023 @mtparishwalk. Delighted to finish in 21 hrs 54 mins. Great atmosphere and a unique event. Special thanks to everyone who advised me pre-walk and of course, my awesome support team. 👏👏👏 #KeepPlodding pic.twitter.com/oXAvMtiI3m
