Treasury Minister Alf Cannan says he's keeping a reserve fund to pay for the government's unexpected legal costs.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions about the legal costs reserve.
It was set up in 2005 after a number of large and complex legal cases.
Mr Cannan said the reserve was still fit for purpose, and he had no intention of shutting it down:
