Government appointments offering chance to play major part in public life

The government are appealing to individuals who may be interested in playing a part in public life.

The Council of Ministers and Treasury will soon be appointing members to a number of Statutory Boards and Bodies whose activities will have a major impact on everyday life on the Island.

The appointments will offer people an opportunity to play their part in the delivery of diverse services in areas such as energy and water supply, financial services regulation, and consumer rights.

Five year appointments are beign advertised for organisations like the MEA, the Post Office, the Office of Fair Trading and the Civil Service Commission among others.
