The Department of Health and Social Care is asking the public to return its medical items.
Although equipment issued by the department remains the property of the DHSC, in many cases it's never returned.
The DHSC says items are often found in charity shops, or even listed for sale on social media.
It says items such as wheelchairs and crutches must be returned to its store to be recycled, in the Kirby Farm Industrial Estate in Braddan.
