Police have only drafted in two extra officers to help them oversee the TT festival:
The Roads Policing Unit has been bolstered however - by bringing in other officers from the wider force.
22 cops are now on duty policing the Island's roads, between 5am and 10pm, in a bid to keep people safe.
The man in charge of the unit is Sergeant Steven Lapsley - he says the German visitors are a great help:
