Gas prices are due to rise by more than five per cent in less than a fortnight's time.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority announced the news on its website earlier.
It says its latest tariff review was conducted this month.
Regulated tariffs will increase by 5.3 per cent from Tuesday, July 1 - with domestic heating tariff rising from 9.76p to 10.29p.
