Grand firework display called off
Gale force winds have forced the cancellation of the firework display scheduled for tonight marking the official closure of the IOM Commonwealth Youth Games.
The road closures in the area have also been lifted with the exception of the taxi rank closure outside of the Villa Arcade.
The athletes will be assembling on the promenade this evening for the arrival of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor prior to closing celebrations taking place in the Villa.
