Further Delays To Manx Travellers Today

Air passengers face another day of travel problems after the ban grounding most flights into and out of the UK was extended until 7 o'clock this evening.

The National Air Traffic Service says the cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland continues to cover much of the country.

Manx airspace has been closed up to a 12-mile limit.

Manx2.com announced plans to run a shuttle service between the Isle of Man and Blackpool and hopefully Belfast today as they fly lower then normal flights, missing the area affected by the volcanic ash.
