The Isle of Man's Statutory board have welcomed the appointments of two high profile figures from London's business world.
The former Lord Mayor of the City of London, Sir David Lewis, and a former senior official at the Institute of International Finance in Washington, Paul Wright have joined the board of the Financial Supervision Commission.
Posts were filled in the FSC, the Insurance and Pensions Authority and the Isle of Man Post Office to name but a few.
Commenting on the number of applications the Chief Minister said, it is an encouraging reflection of the community spirit of the Island that so many individuals are prepared to put their talents and experience to the service of the public in this way.
