A free online event will be held today to mark World Mental Health Day (October 10th).
‘Connectivity’ will be streamed at 6pm, with talks led by three speakers focussing on why connections and inclusion are important for positive mental health.
Mental health specialist Steve Hobbs of Shine, health and wellbeing lead of Capital International Luke Adebiyi, and wellness consultant Jules Hobbs of Hobbs Holistic Health will deliver short talks to raise money for local charities Isle Listen and Motiv8.
Sponsored by Manx Telecom, Cycle 360, Capital International and Ciara H Photography, the event aims to share self-care tools and tips as well as highlighting the impact of diversity and unconscious bias on mental health.
