The local campaign group 'My Death, My Decision' has been adding weight to the ground swell of public support for the Assisted Dying Bill.
The bill, brought forward by MHK Dr Alex Allinson will receive its second reading in October, after falling short on previous attempts in other administrations.
Former Garff MHK Martin Perkins is a member of the campaign group, he said he's hopeful we've progressed in attitude since it was last knocked back.
He outlined the common grievances that had let to it not progressing previously, and why they shouldn't be a consideration anymore:
Rapists's appeal against sentence thrown out
Last chance to become next TT's charity partner
No gas price hike after regulator review
Cafe hits back after staff abused
Online appointments being considered by sexual health clinic
Treasury can’t say how much is made from medicinal cannabis
Road closures planned for tin baths this weekend
DOI has no junction safety concerns over Iceland plans
