Forensic testing still needs to be carried out before the case against an alleged drug dealer from the Isle of Man can continue.
28-year-old Jamie Christopher Hall, of no fixed address, appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week.
He's been accused of possessing heroin and possessing the Class A drug with intent to supply.
Both offences were allegedly committed on November 11.
The court heard the drugs were only sent to a UK testing facility on Wednesday.
An application for bail was refused and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on January 7.
