The Island's Fire and Rescue Service says it spent around an hour and a half battling a fire in the north of the Island last night.
The blaze broke out in a lean-to in Andreas and spread to a section of roof shortly after 6pm.
Fire crews managed to put out the fire, which is thought to have been started by sparks from a log burner.
Firefighters took to Facebook to issue safety advice for those who use the fires, including making sure you have smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
