Emergency Services were called out last night after a tanker rolled and was leaking slurry.
Just before 6.30pm Douglas crews arrived at the Old Castletown Road to find the vehicle on its side.
The driver was uninjured out of the tanker when firefighters arrived.
They worked with farmers to minimise and contain the spillage - in an operation that lasted around two hours.
