The fire and rescue service is again warning about the dangers of gorse fires after a blaze at the Point of Ayre yesterday evening.
It comes after the gorse fire on Peel Golf Course earlier this week - firefighters say the shrubs can easily ignite in the warmer and drier weather.
Just before 10pm on Thursday, May 7, crews found a large blaze at the northern tip of the Island which had spread to surrounding vegetation.
They're asking the public to avoid throwing away cigarettes or matches in the countryside, lighting campfires or barbecues near dry vegetation, or parking cars on long dry grass.
