A fire has broken out on a busy street in the centre of Douglas with a number of roads in the area cordoned off.
Firefighters with assistance from Police are currently dealing with the incident on Duke Street in the area of the CEX building opposite Marks & Spencers.
As a result, Duke Street has been closed, along with Wellington Street and Victoria Street at both their junctions with Duke Street.
The constabulary is asking people to avoid the area at this time.
