Figures from the Department of Infrastructure shows a scrapped bus service to Cregneash and the Sound had fewer than three passengers a day.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many people had used the number 28 bus after minister Tim Crookall axed it because it wasn't financially viable.
The figures show in 2019 3,202 people used it compared to just 929 last year.
The data also shows in 2023, there were just 256 ticket-buying passengers on it.
