The Family Library in Douglas has announced it's to shut down.
A letter sent out by the facility on Westmoreland Road says the directors have made the difficult decision to shut all services, including the children's library, mobile bus and bibliotherapy.
In the letter, they say they're expecting a funding shortfall of around £100,000 each year - and describe it as "no longer tenable"..
The library will close for the final time on Thursday, July 31.
