Reports suggest Australian film star and director Eric Bana is in talks to make a film about one of the TT's greatest heroes.
Hailwood has been described as "the greatest motorcycle racer who ever lived" - winning 12 TT races in total.
Eric Bana has previously visited the Island, and has reportedly been talking to Mike's family about the project.
However, no storyline, timeline or budget have been reported.
