Siren Will Sound Across All 31 of the Island\'s Sites
Manx residents are reminded today that there will be a siren test carried out at 11am.
The sirens at all 31 sites across the Island will sound for a solid 30-second blast, with the tests carried out simply to ensure that they can be operated centrally as well as at each location.
In the event of an actual emergency the siren will sound for a full three minutes, in the event that this happens members of the public are urged to get indoors and await further instructions from local radio.
